This Privacy Policy describes how joybox.ua (the "Site", "we", "us", or "Seller") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site. The collection and processing of personal data are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection".

Registration and Order Data:
Since the specifics of our store involve door-to-door courier delivery of gifts, providing and processing this information is a mandatory condition. If the Buyer refuses to provide the necessary data (or consent to its processing), the Seller will not have the technical ability to accept and fulfill the order. We collect the following information:
  • Customer Data: Phone number (used for registration, identification, and order-related communication).
  • Recipient Data: Full name, phone number, and exact address for door-to-door courier delivery of the gift.
  • Payment Information: Processed exclusively on the side of secure payment gateways (we do not collect or store your credit/debit card details).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:
  • To process and fulfill your orders (including transferring necessary data to delivery services).
  • To communicate with the customer to confirm the order, resolve payment issues, or clarify details.
  • To communicate with the recipient to arrange the time of door-to-door courier delivery.
  • To screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.
  • To improve and optimize our Site using analytics tools.

3. Consent to Receive Informational and Promotional Messages

In accordance with Part 4 of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On E-Commerce" and the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", by placing an order on the Site and providing their phone number, the Buyer gives their explicit consent to use this number to receive:
  • Informational messages (order processing status, delivery details, and terms);
  • Commercial (promotional) messages (information about promotions, discounts, new arrivals) via SMS, Viber, Telegram, or other messengers.
Right to opt-out: The Buyer has the right to opt out of receiving promotional mailings at any time free of charge. To do this, simply contact support at hello@joybox.ua, through the messengers at the numbers indicated on the Site, or by using the unsubscribe instructions directly in the promotional message. (Note: opting out of promotional messages does not cancel the sending of technical messages regarding the status of the current order).

4. Public Data and Reviews

Any information voluntarily provided by you when commenting on products on the Site, in our social networks, or left as a review, becomes public. We recommend sharing personal information in such publications solely at your own discretion.

5. Sharing Your Personal Information

We share essential personal information with third parties exclusively to fulfill our obligations to you:

  • Delivery Service: To perform door-to-door courier delivery, we share the recipient's contact details and address with the delivery company Nova Poshta.
  • Acquiring and Payment: Payments on the Site are processed via the plata by mono payment service. We support secure payments via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

6. Analytics, Advertising, and Cookies (Google and Meta Requirements)

To analyze traffic, improve our services, and monetize the Site, we use web analytics tools and advertising services:
  • Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Used to collect anonymized statistics on how visitors interact with the Site.
